Jaguar Land Rover continue to make bold statements with each of their releases – even after all these years!
The multinational manufacturer revealed the 2019 Range Rover Evoque in November during the launch event held in London and unlike its predecessor, the British-built compact SUV takes on the features of bigger SUV cars.
We are totally loving this hybrid, so we decided to give you a sneak peek before it hits the showrooms in a few weeks – Enjoy the ride!
Design and Interior
Without any atom of exaggeration, the highlight of this compact off-roader is the hi-tech features and the stylish tweaks. Definitely hard to miss!
Although it may seem no different from its predecessor at first look, a closer look reveals that it is every shade of positive ‘different’ from the 2018 Range Rover Evoque. Besides the standard range rover features, this compact SUV possess features of bigger SUVs and a midsize Velar.
The sleek 2019 Range Rover Evoque comes with a completely overhauled interior to bring it up to par. The exterior is designed with a rounded bumper and smoother panel that makes it more ‘slippery in the air.’ Compared to its 3-door predecessors, this new buddy will come in a five-door form and plenty of leg room at the front.
The grille also appears to be thinner and the boot flatter. A touchscreen panel for controlling climate settings, 10-inch infotainment system and a touchscreen for controlling the system, and a large digital panel that contains the SUV’s instruments.
Other notable highlights include the ClearSight tool, driver’s aid (like front & rear parking sensors and a lane keep assist, transparent bonnet, and 8-way adjustable heated front seats.
The new Range Rover Evoque is truly more advanced, sophisticated, and luxurious than its predecessor.
Power and Performance
The all-wheel Range Rover Evoque definitely has its powerful engine as its bragging right. It is proposed to come with three petrol-electric hybrids as well as three diesel-electric mild hybrids.
Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the new Range Rover Evoque is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-4 and turns in 251 pound-feet and 237 horsepower. It is also equipped with a well-tuned 9-speed automatic transmission which controls power from the engine to the wheels.
Although yet to be confirmed, the fuel economy and emission figures are expected to fall along the lines of 143g/km of CO2.
Okay here is a shocker – The 2019 Range Rover Evoque is not as pricey as we expected! This has got to be one of the cheapest luxury cars – if not cheapest so far. The entry-level model price begins at £31,600 while the S and SE variant are expected to be £35,700 and £38,250 respectively.
Incredible, I know. The best bang for your buck!
