Snapchat is in the midst of a very hyped up marketing campaign with its new video recording spectacles.
“The spectacles will be a lot of fun – it’s like one of those products you don’t understand until you use it…” according to Snapchat.
It allows you to share 10 second moments throughout your day that last for 24 hours in the social platform. You can also message friends but those messages disappear too.
Recently Snapchat changed their name to Snap Inc, and are no longer just an app but a camera company – hence their latest smart spectacles.
They announced the name change in the wall street journal, and now the company is being valued at 20-25 billions dollars, which would make it the third most valuable tech company at its market debut – after Ali Baba and facebook.
